📜 Prologue – Whispers of Mirthalos (5 min)
Under a sky veined with violet lightning, Lysara and Alaric traverse the salt-cracked valleys of the Dead Meridian, guided by torn parchment and visions left behind in the Ninth Vault.
Before them rise the Ruins of Mirthalos, a place so ancient, time recoils. Stone pillars hum with forgotten names. The birthplace not of a king, but of something older.
📚 Act I – The Scholar’s Descent (10 min)
Deep within the temple archives, covered in ash and grief, they discover the fractured journal of Velkor, once a mortal scribe of the Pantheon. The entries begin benign: studies of star charts, magical codices, the flow of memory between realms.
But then comes the shift. The gods decree knowledge dangerous. Velkor watches texts burned, truths twisted. His words grow desperate:
“If they silence the flame, who then will light the path?”
Lysara trembles as the pages shimmer, enchanted memories pull them inside.
🌀 Act II – The Betrayal of Velkor (12 min)
They live it: the betrayal. Velkor on his knees before the Pantheon, pleading to preserve the Grand Archive. The gods, aloof, cold, pass judgment. His name is struck from the Codex of Light. His soul unraveled, cast into the Void Between.
In the vision, Alaric sees the moment of transformation: knowledge twisting to sorrow, sorrow to silence. A voice, ancient and broken, speaks to him directly:
“They feared truth. So they made me fearsome.”
They awaken, gasping, and changed.
🔮 Act III – Echoes in the Abyss (8 min)
Lysara finds a mural hidden beneath vines: Velkor, cradling a star within his chest, as shadows ripple from his feet. It reads: “In knowledge, he was king. In silence, he became god.”
She whispers: “The Void King wasn’t born evil. He was born betrayed.”
Alaric grips Solrend tighter. “So we fight a wound given voice.”
⚔️ Act IV – Guardians of the Fold (9 min)
As they descend further, guardians of the Fold awaken, echoes of Velkor’s final thoughts given spectral form. Sentient questions: “Would you silence gods to speak freely?” “Would you kill for truth?”
Alaric fights not just monsters, but philosophy turned blade. One strikes him with a memory of Garran’s death. Another forces Lysara to relive the day her powers were bound.
Together, they overcome, but barely.
💔 Act V – The Cradle of Silence (8 min)
In the temple’s heart lies a well of stillness. No sound. No magic. Just the chill of pure absence. This, Lysara realizes, is where Velkor died, not in body, but in will. A perfect stillness where all questions ceased.
She kneels and touches the stone. The silence speaks:
“Not death. Not rage. I only wanted to be heard.”
Alaric places a flamegem on the altar. “Then let this be your final truth. Not silence, but warning.”
🎵 Final Montage (4 min)
- Waves of black wind sweep across the Dominion capital.
- The remaining gods of Eldros gather in secret, fearful of what stirs again.
- Lysara opens her palm, fire and silence spiral in unison.
- Velkor’s final journal entry fades: “If none shall remember me, let the abyss remember everything.”
📜 End Credits – Episode 3: Birth of the Abyss
The enemy they face is not born of hatred, but of truth denied. As Alaric and Lysara leave Mirthalos, the silence lingers, less an absence, more a reckoning.
The Shadow of Eldros: Twilight of the Wardens continues.
