⛓️ Prologue – A Storm Unleashed (3 min)

Over the windswept cliffs of Vaelor, dark clouds churn unnaturally. Bolts of white flame strike the sea, forming runic spirals in the tide. Atop the Tower of Judgment, the High Inquisitor kneels before an obsidian brazier.

“The traitor rises. The flamebearer kindles rebellion. It is time.”

He stands and places a scroll into the fire, a sealed decree of vengeance.

Beneath the capital, vault doors thunder open. The Wardens of the First Flame, once believed extinct, emerge in burning cloaks of silversteel.

“We are absolution.”

🛡️ Act I – The Price of Defiance (6 min)

In the ruins of the desert shrine, Alaric studies the relic shard of the Martyr King. Seyren and Lysara argue over its origin, each fragment brimming with dangerous power.

Before they can agree on their next course, a bolt of white fire crashes nearby. Alaric shields Lysara instinctively as smoke clears.

Standing where the bolt struck: Ser Daemarion, once Alaric’s commander. A Warden, now reborn with sunfire eyes.

Ser Daemarion: “By decree of Vaelor, you are to be judged by the sword.”
Alaric: “Then judge me by truth.”

Daemarion draws his blade. “Truth dies with flames.”

⚔️ Act II – Duel of Old Flame (8 min)

The battle between Alaric and Daemarion spans the oasis cliffs. Solrend clashes with the Wardenblade, sparks raining like starlight.

Flashbacks intercut, young Alaric, a loyal Warden initiate; Daemarion teaching him the Creed of Mercy. Now, those oaths burn.

Lysara defends Seyren from Warden archmages who circle the ruins, hurling sunfire bolts. Her flame reacts violently to theirs, opposing light against burning purity.

Alaric gains the upper hand but hesitates. Daemarion, sneering, spits blood.

Daemarion: “That mercy will be your undoing.”

A second Warden appears, Ser Kaelis, Daemarion’s sister-in-arms. She conjures a chain of burning glyphs that binds Alaric and Lysara both.

⛩️ Act III – The Warden Tribunal (6 min)

Taken in chains to an ancient Warden tribunal chamber carved into a mountainside, Alaric faces a council of three masked Wardens.

They pronounce sentence not with law, but with memory, replaying Alaric’s past choices as illusory projections around the chamber.

Lysara watches, stunned, as visions show Alaric slaying innocents during the Burning of Drelmoor, a mission he never spoke of.

Alaric does not deny it. “I carry every face. Every scream.”

One Warden lowers his hood, it is Ser Rovan, Alaric’s mentor, thought long dead.

Rovan: “You were meant to be better than us.”

🔥 Act IV – Judgment Interrupted (6 min)

Just as the sentence of execution is about to be passed, the chamber quakes. From deep within the mountain, a forgotten shrine erupts in flame, something ancient stirs.

A black flame coils into the tribunal, manifesting a voice, not human, not god. The Shade of the First Fire.

It mocks the Wardens: “You claim to preserve the flame, but you are its prison.”

It reaches toward Lysara, recognizing her power, and then recoils. “She burns not as you did. She burns with will.”

The presence vanishes, leaving chaos. The tribunal collapses.

🏹 Act V – Flight Through the Cradle (7 min)

Seyren helps Alaric and Lysara escape as the mountain shakes. The trio flees into the Cradle of Emberveil, a network of glowing caverns lined with dormant runes.

Pursued by Ser Kaelis and surviving Wardens, Alaric must face his guilt not just as memory, but as obstacle. The runes respond to his voice, revealing trials of flame and ash.

Lysara uses the Key to stabilize the collapsing path. As she does, the relic shard begins to resonate, it pulses in time with her heart.

The caverns collapse behind them, sealing the Wardens away, for now.

🌌 Final Montage (3 min)

  • In Vaelor, the High Inquisitor declares Alaric a heretic and traitor to the Flame. His name is struck from all records.
  • Ser Daemarion kneels before a ruined flame altar. “He hesitated. That weakness… I will burn it from him.”
  • Seyren deciphers the resonance between the shard and the Key. “This isn’t just relic and vessel. It’s a map.”
  • Alaric dreams once more, but this time, he hears not screams… but a song carried on wind and fire.

📜 End Credits – Episode 9: Wrath of the Wardens

The Wardens have returned, not as protectors, but as zealots. Alaric walks the ashes of their legacy. Lysara’s fire burns brighter than ever, but so do the eyes watching her from the dark.

The Shadow of Eldros tightens its grip around the spark of rebellion.
