🌀 Prologue – The Seal Stirs (3 min)

In the lowest chamber of the Sanctum of Flame, deep beneath Vaelor, ancient gears grind after centuries of silence. The Final Seal, one of seven forged by the Ancients to bind the void, pulses with fault lines of red light.

Above, the High Inquisitor watches from a sanctified platform as the skies bleed crimson. The eclipse lingers unnaturally. A crow with two heads lands at his feet and speaks in tongues: “It is unmade. The door will open.”

The seal cracks, and a pulse of energy tears across the continent.

⛰️ Act I – The Shattered Vale (7 min)

Alaric, Lysara, and Seyren stand at the edge of the Verradan Chasm, a once-verdant valley now fractured by the shockwave. The Key of Flame flickers erratically, and the Martyr King’s shard hums in a low, mournful tone.

“That was no tremor,” Seyren says, kneeling to examine scorched soil. “That was a death cry.”

They encounter a tribe of Flamewalkers, ancient guardians of the Seal, wandering, leaderless. Their tongues are burned shut by divine edict.

One Flamewalker signs a name in ashes: “Velkaeth”.

Lysara’s breath shortens. “That’s the name of the First Flame... and the name of the one who tried to consume it.”

⚔️ Act II – Velkaeth’s Return (7 min)

The seal’s fracture has allowed Velkaeth, a forgotten god of hunger and oblivion, to seep tendrils of influence into the realm. Nightmares twist reality. Forests bleed shadow. Time skips erratically around those marked by fire.

In a ruined fortress, the trio faces one of Velkaeth’s echoes, a creature formed from the bones of slain Wardens and flaming ash. It bears the shape of Ser Rovan, Alaric’s mentor.

Alaric cannot bring himself to strike. Lysara intervenes, burning the memory-construct apart with raw flame from her palm.

Lysara: “We carry them forward. But we do not serve their ghosts.”

🪨 Act III – Trial of the First Flame (8 min)

At the heart of the Vale lies a monolith of obsidian, half-sunken in a crater, The Emberfang, the original sealing stone. Seyren reads the ancient language: “Only a soul unshackled may close what gods have opened.”

Lysara steps forward, placing both relics, Key and shard, against the stone. The sky darkens. She falls unconscious and is pulled into a vision realm.

There, she meets Velkaeth, not as a beast, but as a mirror of herself, calm, seductive, eternal.

Velkaeth: “You burn because you fear the dark. But I offer a flame that never dies.”

In the real world, her body begins to burn. Alaric throws himself into the flame, searing his arms, and speaks to her within the vision.

“Your flame is yours, Lysara. Not his. Come back.”

Her eyes open, pure gold. Velkaeth screams and is banished.

🔥 Act IV – The Seal Closes (6 min)

The monolith cracks, releasing a torrent of ash and fire that rises into the sky. The broken seal pulses. Alaric and Lysara, together, raise the relics, and their voices, to complete the rite of sealing.

Seyren stabilizes the surrounding rift with his blood, sacrificing part of his life-force to anchor the magic.

The seal binds again, but not perfectly. A sliver remains undone. A gate remains slightly open.

A single whisper escapes through the breach: “You chose your ending. I await your beginning.”

🧭 Act V – The New Path (6 min)

In the aftermath, the continent reels. Entire regions vanish in mist. Rivers flow backward. But the Key no longer burns, Lysara now controls it fully.

Alaric, his arms still wrapped in sacred bandages, trains beside the cliff. He has shed his armor. He now wears the garb of a Flamewalker.

Seyren, weakened, begins mapping leyline shifts. “Something worse is coming. But we know the path now.”

A letter arrives, sealed in black wax. An invitation to the Citadel of Crows, from the exiled House Vayne.

🎵 Final Montage (4 min)

  • In Vaelor, the High Inquisitor places a crown of thorns upon his brow. “Let the flame die. Long live the light.”
  • The Wardens gather, fractured, unsure whom to follow.
  • Lysara stands atop the Emberfang, gazing east. “The war for Eldros hasn’t begun. That was just the sealing of the door.”
  • Alaric looks into the sunset, then back at her. “Then let’s break it open when we’re ready.”

📜 End Credits – Episode 10: The Breaking Seal

The seal is broken. The game has begun. What sleeps beyond the flame is no longer content to dream.

The Shadow of Eldros will return in Season Two: Veil of Ash.
