How to Livestream on YouTube Using OBS Studio?

Prerequisites:

  • YouTube Channel: You should have a YouTube channel where you want to livestream.
  • OBS Studio: Download and install OBS Studio from the official website.
  • YouTube Live Streaming Enabled: Ensure that your YouTube account is enabled for live streaming. This may require verifying your phone number and enabling live streaming in your YouTube settings.

Configuration Steps:

Step 1: Open OBS Studio

Launch OBS Studio on your computer.

Step 2: Configure Your Stream Settings

  1. In OBS Studio, click on "Settings" in the lower-right corner.
  2. Under the "Stream" section in the left sidebar, select "YouTube/YouTube Gaming" from the "Service" dropdown menu.
